Butler County, An Introduction...
Butler County is a predominately agricultural community with 1,076
farms. Our farm families harvest 277,708 acres of corn and soybeans
annually, with sales of agricultural commodities totaling $135 million
dollars. Our communities offer many of the goods and services you will need
during your visit, as well as several houses of worship if you choose.
Our towns also have a colorful history to tell. Our many historical
sites are sure to be an interesting stop during your visit. If you enjoy
the outdoors, you will find some of the best parks, campgrounds, and
golf courses around. Please feel free to contact our office if we can do
anything to make your visit more enjoyable. We invite you to visit for awhile,
and stay for a lifetime! We feel we have many great reasons to make
Butler County home for your family. Our location offers you all the
quality and security of rural living, while a short drive will take you
to all that the larger cities of Waterloo/Cedar Falls and Mason City have
to offer! |
